Yemeni jambiya

In Yemen, almost all men traditionaly wear a special dagger, named jambiya. Although it is a weapon, it is not sharp. They have stopped sharpening them, because of incidents in the past. Besides the jambiya, a belt with golden threads is worn.

Jambiya prices vary, some of them cost as little as 2€, but some (with diamonds) cost millions. Normal price is about 50€ to 100€. I bought jambiya on the picture for about 20€ (including belt), so it is one of the cheaper jambiyas, although it contains a small amount of silver.
